Hajji Alija Mosque by johndinneen

The Hajji Alija Mosque at Počitelj Bosnia, an early 16th century ruined fortified village built directly into a cliff face overlooking the Neretva river.
This small village just south of Mostar, was extensively bombed during the 1993 War, and works of Islamic art and architecture, including this Mosque built in 1562, were destroyed. The Mosque and its minaret were later re-constructed.
